We Are Family

I just love Amish children. This was at the Threshermen's Reunion in Lancaster County, PA. The tractors were great, but the Amish kids were so much fun to see.

Thanks Jim, for this very lovely photo of the Amish children. I do like to know everything about this particular life style. What are the Treshermen ??
Have a nice day,

@Catherine: Thank you, Catherine. A thresherman is someone who operates a threshing machine. This is the machine that separates the grain from the stalks in agriculture. The Reunion is an event that shows and operates antique farming equipment. The most interesting threshing machine we saw there was one driven by a horse on a treadmill.

Despite the majority of the traditional clothing, kids will always be kids and demand modern Nike sneakers :-)

@Curly: How true, Curly. However, I haven't seen any with their iPads.
